Color Wheel

This project was to give us, the uncultured generation, a new perspective on colors. What are colors, you may ask yourself, they are the " property possessed by an object of producing different sensations on the eye as a result of the way the object reflects or emits light." With this new valuable information you can now start your journey of understanding color wheels. For this project we had to create our own color wheel.

I learned a lot of techniques to use on Adobe Illustrator and how colors have their own unique meanings. I learned which colors where the primary, secondary and tertiary. The most important thing was learning how to use AI since I have never used it before.

For my color wheel I think I did pretty well. Next time i would probably fiddle around more with Ai and see what different techniques i could have used.

Bouncing Ball Animation

The second project we did in animation was make 3 bouncing ball animations. We started out by learning how to create and animate a ball bouncing vertically. Once we learned that we got into the process of learning how to make the ball bounce in arcs. We also had to know that the more balls there are in an arc the longer it takes for the ball to bounce and the less amount of balls in the arc the faster it goes. For this project we used Adobe Photoshop, everything we did was new to me because I've never animated before. I would have liked to have gotten it quicker so I could have had more time to do the animation.

AB Sequence

This week in E-Communications, we were challenged to make an AB sequence. We had to start from point A and make it to point B. My partner and I got the idea for the project thanks to one of the spirit days during our homecoming week. It was Wacky Tuesday and we decided to go with an escaped convict theme. I edited in Adobe Premier Pro, keep in mind that I have  only just started learning how to use this program so it's not perfect. There was a lot of trimming involved to make the scenes run through smoothly, or as smoothly as I could get it.           We started the sequence in the corner of a staircase that, in our opinion, had more of a jail cell vibe. We moved around the Social Studies pod until we got to one of the main hallways. Instead of taking the long way to the courtyard we decided to to just go down the hallway to the nearest entrance to the courtyard, which was our final destination.   ...
How to Print (on the computer) As our first actual assignment we had to make a small film on how to print. First we started out by creating our storyboard which consisted of stick figure drawings and a slightly detailed plan of the process. Once we finished with that we went out with iPads and took pictures on how it would play out. In my group there were four of us and we didn't have any problems on who would do what. I ended being a sort of director, I made sure we stayed on task and when to move on to a different scene.  The only thing I would have done differently is to switch my role as the director and become the model. Thanks to this assignment I'm getting better at knowing how Adobe Premium Pro works.
